The Clamouse cave is located in the Occitanie region, in the Hérault department, between Saint-Jean-de-Fos and Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, along the Hérault Gorges, 40 km from the coast and 35 km from Montpellier.

Our car parks are always FREE for ticketed visitors.

NB: the car park charges €10 per vehicle per day (from 10am to 7pm) for people who are not visiting the Clamouse cave. The car park barrier is lowered at 8pm.

Be clever when visiting the Hérault gorges.

  • Car park of Saint-Jean-De-Fos here 1.7 km from the cave, a picturesque village where you can visit the Argileum pottery museum.
  • From this car park the free shuttle Argileum will take you to the Pont du Diable, right next to the Clamouse cave, then easy, direct access by bus to the village of St Guilhem le Désert.
    Take the shuttle bus to the "salle polyvalente" stop. It runs every 30 minutes from 11am to 7.30pm, from 13 July to 18 August.

    Price €8 per day in high season, with free shuttle service to the Clamouse cave and Saint Guilhem le désert.

An e-ticket cannot be reimbursed, even in the event of loss or theft, nor can it be returned or exchanged.
